A Legal Entity Identifier is a 20-character code that identifies your company uniquely in financial markets worldwide.
Who needs one?
Any legal entity trading in securities, derivatives or other reportable financial instruments — including many small companies buying funds or shares.
How long does it take?
Most registrations are completed within one business day once your details are confirmed.
Does it expire?
Yes. An LEI must be renewed every 12 months to stay active. We remind you before the date.
