Data controller
SWELEI is the controller for personal data processed through this website. Contact us at hello@swelei.se with any question about your data.
What we collect
Company details (legal name, organisation number, registered address) and contact details for the person applying (name, role, email, phone). We also record order and payment references.
Why we collect it
To verify the entity, submit an LEI registration through an accredited LEI Issuer, take payment, manage renewals and provide support. Part of the reference data becomes public in the Global LEI Index, as the LEI system requires.
Legal basis
Performance of a contract with you, our legitimate interest in supporting and maintaining registrations, and legal obligations such as accounting rules.
Sharing
We share the data required for registration with the accredited LEI Issuer, and payment data with our payment provider. We do not sell personal data.
Retention
Registration and accounting records are kept as long as required by law, typically seven years. Support correspondence is kept for as long as it remains relevant.
Your rights
You may request access, correction, erasure or restriction of your personal data, and object to processing based on legitimate interest. You can also complain to the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY).
